Terms of service

By creating an account or using Segesio ERP you accept these terms. If you are signing up on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you disagree with any part, do not use the service.

Segesio ERP is a cloud platform for the operational and financial management of farms. It is modular: the features available depend on the plan you subscribe to and the modules enabled for your organisation.

We may add, change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something that materially affects the plan you subscribed to, we will give you reasonable notice.

Using the service requires an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out from your account.

• An organisation can invite users and assign them roles with different permissions.
• Whoever administers the organisation is responsible for granting and revoking their team's access.
• Field Station operator PINs attribute actions on a shared screen; they do not replace login credentials.

Tell us as soon as possible if you notice unauthorised use of your account.

There are free and paid plans. Payments are processed through Stripe or MercadoPago depending on the country and the method you choose: Segesio does not store your full card details.

• Subscriptions may be monthly or annual and renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel first.
• You can cancel at any time from the platform. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: the service stays available until that date.
• Prices may be shown in different currencies and do not include taxes unless stated otherwise.
• If a payment fails we may retry it and, after reasonable notice, restrict access to paid features.

Price changes are communicated in advance and apply from the next billing period.

We may offer trial periods or free plans with usage or feature limits. We may change or discontinue them; if you are using one, we will tell you before the change affects you.

The data you enter — farms, plots, activities, expenses, harvests, images — is yours. Segesio processes it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

• You can export your information in the formats the platform offers while your account is active.
• We may use aggregated and anonymised data, which cannot identify you or your farm, to improve the service.

The software, brand, design and documentation of Segesio ERP belong to their owner. Your subscription grants a right to use them for its duration; it does not transfer ownership of the software or allow you to copy, resell or create derivative works from it.

You may not use the platform for illegal activities, attempt to access another organisation's data, breach or probe security without authorisation, automate usage in ways that degrade the service, or resell access to third parties.

We may suspend access where usage puts the service or other users at risk.

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability: there may be scheduled maintenance, incidents or third-party provider failures. Where maintenance is foreseeable, we give notice.

We take regular database backups. A backup is a service-continuity measure and does not replace your own exports.

Some features depend on external providers: satellite imagery, weather forecasts, receipt reading (OCR) and AI assistance. That data is provided as the provider delivers it.

Satellite indices have known limits — resolution, cloud cover, plot size — and the platform flags a reading when it is unreliable. Field observation takes precedence over a satellite estimate.

Segesio ERP is a decision-support tool. Recommendations, alerts, rate calculations, application windows and generated plans — including AI-assisted ones — are indicative.

Final decisions on applications, purchases, hiring and technical management, and compliance with the applicable agronomic, phytosanitary and labour regulations, are the responsibility of the user and their technical team.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Segesio is not liable for loss of profit or indirect damages arising from use of the service.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service for breach of these terms, non-payment, or use that compromises security, with prior notice unless urgency prevents it.

After termination we retain information for the periods set out in the Privacy Policy and then delete or anonymise it.

We may update these terms. We publish the last-updated date at the top of this page and, where the change is material, we announce it by email or inside the platform. Continuing to use the service after it takes effect means accepting the new version.

These terms are governed by the law of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of Montevideo, without prejudice to the rights consumer or data protection law grants you in your country of residence.
